Liturgy has a rich history for the Church. There are beautiful aspects we often overlook in our worship today that we want to take time and focus on. We won't get the full effect since we don't do this on a regular basis, but it's a tradition with beauty we can still learn a lot from.

Join us on Christmas Eve for our candlelight service. It’s a great opportunity to worship our King who is born before all the festivities of traditions begins on Christmas morning.

Join us Sunday December 22 at 4:00 PM in bringing joy to the bellies and souls of those in the memory care unit at Heritage Green. Meet us over there at 4 PM and bring a batch of cookies for the residents and staff. 

After singing, anyone who would like to grab dinner together we will do so! Place TBD

Gear up GSM crew because we are going head to head in an epic escape room time challenge! we will break up into two groups and head over to an escape room and see which team can finish the courses in the shortest amount of time. Sign up and bring a friend because this is an event you won't want to miss!

Come on out kids to Grace Kids parents night out!

From 5pm - 7pm this night will be packed with PreK kids programming at the church and a tacky light tour for 1st - 5th graders. We will have pizza and snacks for everyone coming so make sure to sign up so we know how much to order. This is a great opportunity for kids to connect with one another in the church through some Christmas themed fun!

We are celebrating 66 years of the people of God meeting in this space here at Grace! 

The second Sunday in October was the first Sunday Grace Christian Church met! Originally Mechanicsville Church of Christ, Grace has seen a lot of change over the years, but has always been focused on declaring the gospel of Jesus Christ. 

Join us as we celebrate and spend some extra time together as a family. There might even be cake!! 

As followers of Jesus, each of us are commissioned by Christ to go and make disciples. We're also told that we are the body of Christ, made up different and distinct parts and designed to fit together as a whole. So what happens when we disciple and treat everyone the way we think we want to be treated? What happens when we don't realize we're not recognizing and  honoring our diversity?

Learn to see yourself and others clearly through the lens of the Enneagram, an ancient system that helps us to see beyond our personality or behavior and down to our core motivations. Identify your own type and how it's wired. Discover how each type is designed to reflect a unique characteristic and reflection of God, and how we need each other to fully reflect his image in the world. 

Brian Lee is a pastor, coach, and consultant at Gospel Centered Enneagram and the founder and director of Broken to Beloved. He has a passion for fulfilling the great commission of making disciples and for helping others grow in grace, compassion, and empathy through self and others awareness.

Brian and his family love to go on outdoor adventures exploring their neighborhood and community, finding good parks, enjoying good food, and having fun together. Brian loves and appreciates coffee, and could always use another cup.

$15 costs includes the Saturday event, an Enneagram Assessment through Gospel Centered Enneagram, lunch and snacks.

Join us Tuesday afternoon as we show up to support Grace Christian School! We'll be cheering loud for their middle school volleyball team as they take on Guardian! Bring a few dollars for admission, and a few dollars for snacks!

Prayer is powerful and effective! We want to bathe this school year in prayer as they start. 

Join us here at Grace Christian Church to start as we pray for Grace Christian School as they start the next day. We'll pray for students, teachers, admin, parents, all who are involved in this school year. We'll go over and do the same at Mechanicsville Elementary school and end by having a prayer over our students, parents, teachers, and those involved in school from Grace Christian Church. 

Help us love on our schools by bringing a side to share with the teachers! BBQ will be provided as the main meat, and your homemade wonderful sides will send an amazing message to our teachers how much we love and support all they do for our kids and our community. 

We'll serve lunch both here at Grace Christian School and down the road at Mechanicsville Elementary School Tuesday August 13th. We need both of them set up by 11:30 AM.
